APPLICATION INFORMATION
Apply by submitting the application form below. Application approval and payment details will be provided via email. Your enrolment will be confirmed after payment has been received.
Participation fee: $150AUD for Yamaha SmashSAX! activities only, $195AUD for full festival pass
Suitable for: Saxophonists playing at AMEB (or equivalent) Grade 3-4 standard and above
What’s involved: Participants will engage in two Yamaha SmashSAX! Rehearsals held on Saturday and Sunday, plus full access to all Concerts, Workshops and Masterclasses during the festival.
Participants will receive their music via email before the weekend, so that they can learn their parts before the Yamaha SmashSAX! Program
Participation and Supervision: Supervision of participants under the age of 18 will be provided by Melbourne Saxophone between 11:30am - 3:00pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Outside of these times participants are encouraged to attend other festival events. Participants under the age of 18 can only be unsupervised if permission from a parent/guardian is given to Melbourne Saxophone before the festival.
Parent/Guardian Festival Passes: Melbourne Saxophone is happy to offer discount festival passes to parents/guardians who would like to accompany participants under the age of 18 to the festival. This is only for SmashSAX! participants who will be attending the full festival.
Parent/Guardian passes are $90AUD.
One Parent/Guardian pass per SmashSAX! Participant applies.

Please note that SmashSAX! runs concurrently with the Ozwinds 100SAx! and MISF D’Addario Jazz Program on both Saturday and Sunda, and so applicants can only apply for one program.
